Why does ABAP exist the last unnecessary dirt I mean worse than Javascript does not really work then nothing comes for a long time and then comes abap Feels like a mixture of Fortran Javascript and brainfuck So ugly formatted like Fortran so bad/ no error messages like Javascript and a syntax quality like brainfuck

In principle, it's a gigantic trap. Once you're in the shit, you can't get out. It's just their business model. Expensive software, expensive consultants, no escape. I have friends who work there and they say that the code was really good in the core, but the more it gets, the worse it gets. It's the same problem as with all huge companies. At some point, the coordination suffers and a small store with commitment becomes a big me-egal store.
