I sometimes buy at the bank 10euro commemorative coins from before 2010 from inherited estates that have there is the material value depending on the current short higher than the 10€ what do you think of it

@Thor-Ole1977 You can do that, of course. Personally, I do not think so much of it, because the tradability (acceptance) seems too low to me in the worst case. Advantage of course: You have in the best case still the numerical value in Euro, so our national currency. With the silver Philharmoniker, the numerical value is just 1.50€. For a general tradability, I would rather fall back on cheaper differential taxed coins. Here there are also always offers with Maple Leaf or Krugerrand, which guarantee a worldwide tradability. The main thing is that the bank exchanges you the coins really only against the 10€, then that is of course advantageous.

@InvestmentPapa thank you I get an info from my pregnant when such coins are delivered to the bank and the bank then gives them out at face value I had last year twice the one were even gekabzelt 👍
