If you buy silver (in the case jewelry) you pay the creativity and the working time on jewelry. If you buy gold (jewelry) you have paid a value and the work. It is simply worth more in the end. @GoDividend Thank you! 😊 Smart guy... 😁 With the statement your jeweler is absolutely right and he is above all very honest (sorry, but how often do you have to experience that jewelers disguise the value...). The processing of silver is expensive. A silver ring with 5g (material value: 3€) is sold somewhere between 49-159€. There's a lot of room for creativity there. 😅
