Milestone 2024🎉

Not only did I successfully complete my training this year, but it may also be the first time I have sustainably exceeded the €50,000 mark. The actual portfolio target for 2024 was 45,000, but this was accelerated somewhat by Nvidia.

I am planning my target for 2025 at around 90 - cautious 120,000 and a long-term expansion with gold, other top tech stocks or a reassuring $IWDA (-0.11%) although the crypto train has left the station for me for the time being.

This year, I've mainly invested through $IGLN (+0.97%) , $ETH (+0.29%) and $MSTR (-7.25%) purchases that I might have to become a lot calmer after all and, as with my $NVDA (-3.06%) I should just leave something lying around and not take the first green numbers straight away.

In doing so, I have $MSTR (-7.25%) for example, I lost 240% after only 2 months

PS: Getquin chart got mixed up somewhere during maintenance, actually the portfolio is currently at a new ATH

I would rather set the target lower; 2023 and 2024 were exceptional years. Your expectations of +100% next year are rather unrealistic and especially not prudent.

@CircusClown quite possibly, maybe I'll remember this post in a year's time and we'll see what happened

Wild. Do you have any tips for trainees on how to get to 50k on a mini salary? Or have you always invested everything? (I still get a trainee salary)

@Esperanza Because of my parents, I had relatively few additional costs; my average salary over the 3 years was around 850 per month. I always put 500 into my account to spend, 350 into the deposit. The next month, 150-200 of the 500 were still left, so I topped it up again to 500 and put the rest in the custody account. There were 2 "payouts" from my father's companies during this time, which he generously gave 10% of to us sons. Otherwise pocket money, birthdays and trades.

@VincP3 OK, interesting. Because I have a monthly savings plan of 500 euros. Less at the beginning but more afterwards. But I only have 20k and you have a lot more. I don't usually have any pocket money and I don't get any money for my birthday either, but a present... Yes, I was just surprised that the difference is so big 🙈
