The depot will always be superior by liquidity, diversification and by the possibility of tranches of shares to sell, reallocate or just to acquire. @KapriolenSonne that's how it is. Unfortunately, many people are not that rational (including me a few months ago), because they have been told since childhood that owning a home is the best retirement provision. In addition, I have no desire to take care of anything (except for contributions on GetQuin) and I am totally untalented.
