You've never filed a tax return?
You've missed out on a lot of money...
I've already gotten €1000 back 3 times
Look for someone nearby from Lohnsteuerhilfe, you won't pay much and you can give yourself some work to do

@Therapeut I have often entered my data in tax apps. If you don't have anything to enter, it won't work.
@Therapeut how do you get so much back 😂 at most as an independent/self-employed person
@Maddy-0 I've been getting 2.5 to 3.5k a year back from the tax office for ages. In earlier times, when I had to commute more for work, I used to get a lot more. Surely (almost) everyone now has work-related expenses, tradesmen's costs or telephone bills? And the state contributes to many things.

In addition, there is the amount of time off, travel expenses, further training, etc.

@Maddy-0 Steuerbot has now spit out 92 euros for me

@DividendenMieze Yes, there are still a few points that you don't know as a layman that could help you get a bit more out of it. That's why I let you do it

@Therapeut having it done costs me more than I can get back 😅

@DividendenMieze There is so much you can deduct from your taxes without having to provide proof. Laundry allowance for work clothes, money for applications (postage and envelopes), books about your job, etc. That way you can get at least 150€ together.

@Hotte1909 So Steuerpot suggested some flat rates to me and I clicked yes everywhere

@DividendenMieze Do you work full time? So 8 hours a day? Then you can normally enter €14 per day as additional meal expenses. Travel to the workplace and so on. There's so much for employees.
