If I get a call before 9:00 a.m., I'm not thrilled either. 😂🙈🤷‍♂️

What does the tax office want, where else have you invested something, how high was your exemption order everywhere...

@AlterMann I am with Trade Republic and Scalable Capital. Taxes were automatically deducted for both, which was quite a lot. Exemption order of 1,000 has been exhausted. The tax office wants a tax return for 2023 by 10/24/2024.

@DividendenMieze Then you will probably have to make one...🤷‍♂️

@DividendenMieze You must have received an annual tax certificate for 2023 from both brokers. I would attach this to your tax return.

@AlterMann Yes, unfortunately. She was so incredibly unfriendly - unbelievable.

@Metis Okay, then I'll give it a try. I know nothing about it. I've never done one before because it's not worth it for me.

@DividendenMieze I have to admit, I don't know how easy it is with capital gains via Taxfix, but clicking through the basic tax return was pretty easy. You only have to pay from the point where you send it to the office.

@DividendenMieze No need to worry 😌 there are helpful channels to do this.
I've picked out a video for you:

The Wiso tax program is also recommended for standard matters. The question is whether only KAP income or speculation taxes are relevant. Capital gains must be declared. Have you made currency speculations with foreign currencies such as dollars, CHF etc., sold gold or cryptos during the speculation period?

@Dominik_76 regardless of what has to be declared (I haven't declared an FSA and that's why I'm doing it): I just enter everything in WISO, if it's not relevant, it won't be taken into account by the FA.
@DividendenMieze Almost everyone who is in tax class I gets a little bit back on their tax return. My partner also thought there was nothing, but I was able to claim at least €5-600 back from her every year. For an hour's work (you get faster with time), that's an acceptable hourly wage in my opinion.
