Hey there, thanks for your comment.
I have a question,
What is the difference between
Royal Dutch shell - A
Royal Dutch shell - B
Royal Dutch shell - ADR A
Just wanted to buy their shares at Trade Republic. Suddenly there were 3 to choose from 😊
Thanks in advance
Yours sincerely

@apo67z Hi, the difference between A and B is the location. A comes from the Netherlands, the Dutch withholding tax is then due on the dividend (15%). B comes from the UK, so the withholding tax rate from the UK is 0%.
ADR is not a real share, rather a certificate to be able to buy the share. ADRs are tied to the issuing bank, which entails risks.

•@rupert Since selling a position half an hour ago, I can no longer open my aggregated dashboard (error message). Is this also related to the update?

@apo67z If you have exhausted your exemption order, Shell A is the better choice.
If you have not yet exhausted your saver's allowance, the Shell B share may be the more attractive option for you.
I've also been thinking about whether to buy Shell or not for some time, but if I did, I would personally buy the Shell A share.
