Oyo - The SoftBank ($3AG1 (-0.7%)) financed, Indian hotel chain is planning an IPO soon. Expectations for the capital increase through the IPO are very high. The plan is to raise nearly $1.2 billion. It said it would use the proceeds from the IPO to settle existing debt and fund growth, which could include mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, the company reported revenue of $951 million and a loss of $335 million. India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Europe are the company's core markets, according to its own statements, in which it primarily intends to grow further in the future.

Inflation - Inflation in the euro zone rose to 3.4%, estimated to rise to 3.3%. This is the highest level in 13 years. This is the third consecutive month that the inflation rate has been above the ECB's target. One of the main reasons for the increase is energy prices. Twitter ($TWR) - The social media and news platform has been a central building block in terms of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and their uses for quite some time. In recent months, for example, more and more well-known personalities, such as Mike Tyson, Timmy Trumpet, Marshmello or Stephen Curry, changed their profile pictures into well-known NFTs (see picture). Predestined for the use as profile picture are especially avatar NFT projects like CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club or Cool Cats. However, a big problem up to now was that anyone could change their profile picture on Twitter into an NFT, even if this person was not the "rightful" owner of the NFT. Twitter now wants to combat this by using a new feature to verify the authenticity of an NFT. NFTs that were actually purchased by the owner of the Twitter account are then marked with a seal accordingly. This increases the usability of NFTs even further and makes it even more attractive for people to invest in them.
