Carrefour ($CA (+0.5%) ), French retailer, informs that in four European countries, products such as Pepsi, Lay's Chips and 7up are no longer sold because they have become too "expensive".

From Thursday the Carrefour stores in France, Italy, Spain and Belgium shelves for PepsiCo products ($PEP (+1.38%) ) carry signs stating that the brands are no longer in the range "due to unacceptable price increases".

Edeka also used to use it to push down purchase prices. Now everything is back in the range

as with the black group. it won't be long before everything is back to normal until they get their discounts

When you consider that the majority of inflation does not come from wage increases, but from corporate profits, this is a nice move. However, it doesn't automatically turn retailers into Robin Hoods, they just want their discounts.

This really does happen again and again between the big chains and food producers. EDEKA is always at the forefront of this, a typical tussle between buyers and sellers

A great circus.

The sale of private labels has already been discontinued. They have also increased their prices considerably.

And it should be left to the buyers to decide whether they are prepared to pay higher prices
