Hello everyone

I've been on Getquin for quite some time now and wanted to introduce my portfolio

1. who am I?

I am 17 years old and inherited some money some time ago. Now it's my turn to invest this money together with my family. I'm still a student at the moment, which is why I'm unfortunately not yet able to save in a savings plan.

2. strategy/investment goals

My goal is to be able to live off my portfolio in around 30 years' time and thus retire earlier. However, I would also like to use occasional dividends before then, for example to travel. However, I want to keep everything within a low range.

So that I don't have too much work with my portfolio, I try to invest only in companies that I think will remain financially stable in the future.

My largest position at the moment is the $IWDA (-1.28%) . I would like to expand this ETF considerably, as well as the $GGRP (-1.23%)

Together with a fund (unfortunately not on Getquin), these 3 positions should ultimately make up over 60% of my portfolio.

The proportion of individual shares will therefore no longer

grow.

As soon as I start earning money at some point, I would like to set up a savings plan for the two ETFs.

That should be the most important information for now.

Thanks in advance!

Great! Since I am curious by nature: What is this fund that is not shown here? You have to watch out for a bit of cluster risk in the tech multinationals that you have overweighted through the stocks. With Apple, for example, you'd have to be at almost 15%, because they're also well represented in $GGRP.

@randomdude the fund is the Asian Opportunities Equity Fund from T. Rowe Price. of course I am aware of the cluster risk, but these are the companies I hold the most shares in, so this should not be a problem for the time being😁.

@Lewi02006 Ahh, Asia. This also puts the issue of diversification in a different light.

Doesn't a distributing world ETF come into question for you?

@TreasureHunter have chosen $GGRP as the distributing etf

@Lewi02006 True. I had even seen that you have a dividend ETF. My mistake :>

How do you come up with that kind of money at 17 years old?
profile image
@renditenbulle look under "who am i" there he explains it :)
profile image
@willemkly Heritage, I know. But still a bit funny.
profile image
@renditenbulle why funny? Inheritance can "justify" almost any sum - no matter at what age. Suppose the grandparents sign over an apartment in Munich and suddenly the inheritance is worth 500k and more.

@tommycash Maybe you'll figure it out yourself if you look at the first position alone. Then he must have started very early with his mom and dad to invest the inheritance. Maybe he only got the first sack hairs then.
profile image
@renditenbulle my first purchase was in January 2021 the $IWDA
profile image
@Lewi02006 Exactly, and how old were you then? 14-15? And your parents just allowed you to handle such sums on your own?
profile image
@renditenbulle slow down haha. I had federal treasury bonds at 15 years old for 200k from grandparents with no inheritance at all. Where is he in the debt? Believe him or let it be ✌️

@renditenbulle No, I did that together with my father back then. At that time I knew nothing about the stock market, so the Etf was the only sensible investment. But even currently I do not just buy any shares independently. Bespeche that always first with my family and of which is then invested.

@Lewi02006 This sounds quite different from what is stated in the article and is then also more credible. Good luck.
