Insurance companies pay out more. Ethereum pulls an⤵️

First Allianz increases its dividend, but raises the payout ratio from 50% to 60%, then the next insurance company follows suit. MüRück is also increasing its dividend substantially.

  • $ALV (-2.1%)
Allianz is launching another share buyback program and has decided to revise its dividend policy. The Board of Management is proposing a dividend of 13.80 euros per share for 2023, compared to 11.40 euros in the previous year. As the DAX-listed company announced on the eve of the publication of its figures, it intends to buy back further shares for up to EUR 1 billion. The buy-back is to be carried out from the beginning of March 2024 until December 31, 2024
  • $MUV2 (-1.52%)
Munich Re intends to pay a dividend of 15 euros per share for 2023, which is significantly above the consensus of 12.49 euros. The company also intends to buy back shares worth up to 1.5 billion euros.

Analysts' forecasts are also rising across the market. It looks as if the insurers are being predicted another good time. $BRK.B (+0.02%) If you look at Waren Buffet's letter to shareholders, you can see that this is happening throughout the insurance industry! Are you invested there?

Cryptos are also continuing to rise. Above all $ETH (-0.43%) Ethereum is now following suit. I myself am invested in $BTC (+0.4%) Bitcoin and Ethereum. I also hold other coins in the Ethereum network. Including Pepe, which was launched in 2023 as Memecoin. Tonight it also went up by up to 50%. My equity was very low at the time and I currently have 4x. If the coin runs to the ATM and then a little further, I would have a 10X. Let's see what else is coming. There is a lot of news about Ethereum that will ensure that it gains a little more. Previously, Bitcoin always led the way. There is now also talk of ETFs for Ethereum. But an update is also planned for March 13. This is primarily intended to further improve fees and make transactions more scalable! Staking ETH has also become much more interesting after the switch to proof-of-stake! You can also see that significantly more ETHs are being moved to a cold wallet than Bitcoins. Do you also have your cryptos on a cold wallet, such as Ledger or something like that?

Hold 2 Eth Coins and see what happens...😂

@Therapeut what will

profile image
@Therapeut I've also had mine for a very, very long time. Mine are also all tax-free by now :)
profile image
@MitVerstandzumKapital with me from August 19😂, are you planning a sale?

profile image
@Therapeut at some point. I need part of the ETH for my transfers and trading the other coins. I really do a lot on the network. Bots, MemeCoin and so on. Collect low, take a push and then get out with it. I currently still have Pepe and Aimbot.

Let's assume that the market would really see the 150,000$ in BTC, I would probably start selling a few shares. But only to be able to buy more later.

I would also try to take a bigger swing here. But depending on the market situation. If the buying power is still there at $150,000, I would keep watching. ETH has a lot coming up now, which will provide further upside.

I was also pleased with Pepe today. Took some profit and shifted part of it into 2 ETH 😄

@ddoc Really, I'm still having a hard time with it, because I can imagine that if eth continues to run, Pepe will reach the ATHs again and could therefore also run a little disproportionately high.

profile image
@MitVerstandzumKapital I can also imagine. That's why I'm only selling part of it in case it doesn't turn out that way. I won't get the exact top anyway
1
profile image
@ddoc Yes, that's right, I wouldn't try that either. I'll have a look at it and think about the partial sale. But I'm not so reliant on it now and might go for the complete gamble!

@MitVerstandzumKapital yay. I could have waited a little longer 😂
Now I want even more

@ddoc wtf, didn't realize it today. Yes, that tastes better. I'm now somewhere above 5x... but there's still a bit of meat left until the ATH.

@MitVerstandzumKapital you were right 👍

@ddoc but I have now also gone beyond the ATH. I now have 11x and am satisfied. I just don't have the time to look at it all the time. I've held Pepe for a very, very long time now and have been there from the start. It was cool and I also had a cap made especially for me, which the company is even bringing out soon :)

@ddoc you see, and even my exit at 0.0000047 was much too early. Entry was 0.00000041, so I have something at 11x and am satisfied. But now another 30%....

I'm still fine with it. I made the decision because of the time factor. I don't want to hold a memecoin during such a rise without being able to observe it. The vola can change too quickly.

But still a great pity. I was generally behind the rise and the opportunity, but that's all the thing can do. I've also made some changes to the team and so on!

I had a weak moment and got out even earlier than BTC went down. I lost a good €30,000, but that's how it goes. All you can say is. Profit is profit.

I pay zero attention to the project itself or the team. It's all about momentum, the meme and what the current phase is like.

@ddoc then just don't look there now. I'm already feeling sick. Not far now and another doubling after my sale 😂😂😂😂

@Reisbauer I am generally more on the sidelines in the market and am buying very slowly. I have now stopped the weekly savings plans for cryptos. But otherwise I'm building up cash and collecting what's at the bottom :)

Staying true to my $AFG, the first special dividend was already paid this month🤓

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur the store is a sight to behold :)

Nice update. I hold my ETH in wrapped staked coin format (wbeth & wsteth) , for tax reasons. I work with different providers and spread the risk between central and decentralized providers. I use a similar setup for other coins.

@Waldo Sounds Good. I hold my eth and BRC over a year, so thats Taxfree in Germany.

Different with my Pepecoin. Hold a lot of time but must swap them into ETH before.

I really want to get more involved with staking. I'm not even into it yet.

Lots of meme coins, gaming coins or bots that have just come out. Generally very worthwhile. Staking is the next thing I really need to tackle.
profile image
@MitVerstandzumKapital yeah, I also live in germany. Staking (and other rewards like lending) is tax free only until 256€ per year. If you have a significant amount of crypto, you reach that easily. Defi offers some interesting options there to wrap staked coins, but it's an absolute jungle... Cefi is easier to grasp, like Binance offers wbeth, increasing in value with about 5% yearly compared to eth, would also be tax free after 1 year hold period.
