I sold all Gazprom ADRs here today and booked a total loss. They were "only" a few hundred euros - but they are probably gone.

Anyone else who had Russian ADRs in their portfolio?

So Russia has promised that the shares will be sold and the money will be held in trust for the investors. This means that after the war we should possibly see 1/4 or 1/5 of our buy-in again if we can prove that we owned the ADRs.

It's sad enough that we have to rely on Putin's promises because the rogue state of Germany vehemently refuses to compensate us in accordance with the Basic Law!

Me. As I understand it, the ADR program was terminated last year in August/September anyway, so the securities should be worthless.
Nevertheless, a small spark of hope remains😂

I was reimbursed at the US depot, but I'm still waiting at the German depot.

I am assuming a total loss, but if it turns out differently, all the better.
At the time, I received several letters from my broker regarding the Russian ADRs that the program was being discontinued. Either I move them to a Russian custody account or they are sold automatically. Nothing has happened since then. All ADRs are still booked at -100%.
