Good evening,
I spend (far too) much time studying historical share prices.
I mainly use TradeRepublic, which offers a very simple chart (1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, Max which is 5J).
I now also use Getquin more frequently, which at least offers the YTD chart and a larger history.
I rarely use other apps that actually have better charts because they have more views (5D, 3M, 6M, YTD, 2/35Y, 10Y) and longer histories, some of them several decades:
TradeView - certainly the most versatile as it is made for technical analysis, shows
1D, 5D, 1M, 3M, YTD, 1Y 5Y, Max Walt Disney until 1968!
Onvista - 1D, 1W, 3M, 1Y, 5Y, 10Y, Max 20Y Walt Disney
Finanzen.net - 1D, 1W, 3M, 1Y, 5Y, 10Y
BörsenNews - 1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, 3Y, 5Y, Max 30Y Walt Disney. RSI and moving averages can also be displayed
Yahoo - 1D, 5D, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y,Max 40Y Walt Disney and you can see the trading volume
Apple - 1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 2Y, 5Y, 10Y and Max also 40Y Walt Disney and trading volume (because also from Yahoo I assume), the whole thing on 2 pages, nsch YTD once wipe
Google - 1D, 5D, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y, Max 20Y Walt Disney, graphically very minimalistic
I also use SeekingAlpha and SimplyWallSt but not the graphs.
All good apps, but THE graphs app is somehow missing, something is always missing.
For example, I'm looking for an app that can display the Bollinger lines in addition to the normal graph, as I find this technical information helpful for short-term entries/exits.
Which apps do you use for similar purposes? Is there a good app that I haven't mentioned yet?
Thank you very much for your feedback.
VG, Andreas
PS: most crypto apps are much more advanced. I currently use Bison and I like the way the technical indicators are displayed. Unfortunately, they don't offer it for stocks.
