China Tobacco International (HK) Co., Ltd. engages in the production, sale, and import and export businesses of tobacco monopoly commodities. It operates through the following business segments: Tobacco Leaf Products Import; Tobacco Leaf Products Export; Cigarettes Export; and New Tobacco Product Export. The Tobacco Leaf Products Import segment include exporting of tobacco leaf products to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The Tobacco Leaf Products Export segment focuses in importing tobacco leaf products from countries other than Zimbabwe. The Cigarettes Export segment involves in exporting cigarettes to duty-free outlets in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and areas inside the borders but outside the customs of China. The New Tobacco Product Export segment sells new tobacco products to regions other than China. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Hong Kong.
