Listened to an interesting interview arguing that SaaS companies like Salesforce and in this example, mum, will evolve to a lower profit margin due to the lower development cost to in-house develop or just overall SaaS competition due to lower barriers of entry.

Might be a factor to consider when evaluating SaaS investment moats.
