Congratulations on this success. I think taking the profit was a good decision. The current valuation is very optimistic, at least from my point of view.

I believe that NVIDIA still has some potential, but I would also take profits there.

So even if the share is currently experiencing hype, I don't see it coming that GPUs will suddenly no longer be needed sometime in the next human lifetime. So mMn very imprudent to get out of the market leader in the long term.

@Siytta yes, everything is correct, the very high valuation ultimately led me to sell. Market leaders are also correcting. I assume that the share will correct. Chips belong to the cyclical stocks. General market environment also rather difficult. Then I ask myself, if it corrects, how fast will it rise again? Vllt it takes 5-6 years until it is again at 370 € 😃

@Elgringofar Actually, I wanted to reduce my position a few days ago also massively u.a. because of the high kgv. What kept me from it was the kgv of AMD. The are practically even more "unrealistic" valued and yet no sale takes place
1
@Siytta another thing that comes to mind, which the ceo also says, China accounts for 1/3 of sales. There was China bashing under Trump and also under Biden. Both different parties but a common ground against China. That was then all too wild for me 😆

@Elgringofar oh yes that would be really fatal. I find China generally very critical because of the old communists😂 but then not only the semiconductor industry would be affected.

I have also sold something with me but only 50%

When in doubt, spend it!

@Boersenwelle yes I also find 1 position built

Impressive return 👍 As a new investment, I would personally consider 3M and Rio Tinto

I have no idea what is appropriate for you. If 32,000 were to come my way right now, I would currently put 15,000 into paying off an apartment loan (investment apartment) and invest 15,000 in $MAIN. Why? Because it fits my strategy for wealth accumulation.
2
@7Trader Why do you want to pay off a loan which has 1.x% or 2.x% interest and you even get 3.x% interest on time deposits.
profile image
@Bboi How do you arrive at 1-2% interest? 3M Euribor alone is currently already at 3.462%, plus the respective premium. So better calculate with around 5%
@7Trader I assumed that you have a good old loan rate for your property.
profile image
@Bboi with the old loans I would not have thought at the time to agree fixed interest rates. Thus, most are agreed with variable interest. In Austria, it was common to finance variable 😉

Beautiful trade, my eyes tear now when I think of the taxes 😢
2
@Koenigmidas were approx 3k 🥲
profile image
@Elgringofar control are robbery 😅mein spass I feel you
profile image
@Koenigmidas simply do not pay taxes😭😭
profile image
@Kronos_ is unfortunately not so easy and I already had 2x unwanted contact with the FA
profile image
@Elgringofar shouldn't it be 25% tax?
1
profile image
@Koenigmidas the broker does this automatically for you, right? Actually, the tax office should not contact you then?
profile image
@Kronos_ depends on how many brokers you use and which you have set the exemption orders. Was more related to not paying taxes. And the contact mim fa was also in other contexts
@Paddy_ro You are right, it should be 6k, now I just wonder why Consorsbank has not debited 3k. I have sold this year nothing at a loss ?!?
@Paddy_ro was offset against a loss from last year 😅 I thought the losses can only be offset in a tax year apparently that is not so. Again what learned 😅

@Elgringofar "Definition of loss carryforward: You can carry forward the loss in one tax year to the following year. This means that the loss is then offset against positive income in the next year and ultimately leads to you having to pay less tax." I didn't know that either until now. But apparently only possible from the last year as I have understood 😀

Shouldn't you think about it before you sell 😉 .

@Sansebastian why? Money does not go bad
1
profile image
@EnjoyCapitalism logical! But if I get out of a stock where I have a lot of profit, then I think before what I do with it.
@Sansebastian of course I have a watchlist and a few re-buy candidates. Ging me with the question rather about whether there are people who have possibly also these titles in the eye :-)

Congratulations. I currently have my eye on $NYCB, $VATN and $MOZN. As always, this is not an investment recommendation or advice or a solicitation to trade securities on my part. LG🚀

@BottomTopInvest $NYCB struck at exactly 6 € 😁

I would invest a part in raw materials. Lithium, cobalt, etc. The age of raw materials will soon begin to revive again.

I myself have bought a few 3M shares under 100€ and am undecided whether I should buy cheaply - court case and so on - why would you buy 3M? Is there any positive news that I missed? 🤔

I was in earlier, unfortunately I was too little fast and too shy to put on top there🙈
