👨‍🎓 Continuing education stock exchange 👨‍🎓

I would be interested to know if anyone has already educated themselves in the field of "stock exchange/capital market". I don't mean following the stock market on a daily basis, reading books or watching YouTube videos. I mean concretely the attendance of seminars and advanced trainings far away from basic studies and job.

For my part, I wanted to tackle the CFTe (Chartered Financial Technician) about two years ago, at least the module CFTe I, because I already bring a lot of knowledge here through studies, partly profession and books. The whole thing then of course part-time. I had already ordered the necessary book for the various modules. In the same way, I wanted to take the BVH stock market license so as not to get rusty. The BVH stock market license is free of charge and can be taken online.

What did I get out of it? Unfortunately nothing! Due to time constraints I did not get anything done. Sure, I regularly educate myself through books. I write analyses and stock valuations myself. And following market events is almost a daily habit. That's how I keep learning. The stock market provides a broad knowledge in the areas of politics and economics. Nevertheless, "a rolling stone gathers no moss".

That's why I would like to know if you have taken any further training. I would also recommend the BVH Stock Market Guide to every beginner. It offers a broad spectrum and is, as mentioned, free of charge. Deutsche Börse also offers a wide range of training for private investors (see link below), from stock strategies to crypto.

What are your experiences? Do you have any specific testimonials?

Thank you! No, I'm also sure not to bring the necessary requirements for everything. But the driver's license sounds exciting, I'll take it 🫠🏎 maybe it's a good change from the what kind of bread are you tests 👀

I don't have any certification, but in my A-levels (subject area: economics/administration) there was a voluntary project week organized by the DKB, Deutsche Bank and the stock exchange in Frankfurt. You could take part after class and learn more about what the stock exchange is, how it works, etc. It was all aimed at giving us as students more financial education and not letting our money rot in a savings account.

That's when the inner fire for the stock market was lit in me and a few months later I then took part in the savings bank's stock market simulation game 😇 I didn't know about the stock market license yet and I'll be happy to take a look at that. For people who don't work in this field, I always wonder whether these (paid) certifications are worthwhile at all. Investing in your own education is always good, but does it give you so much added value that it gives you an advantage when it comes to private investing? 🧐

If I had any idea about what I'm doing, I'd probably realize that I'd have to spend a lot more time on it to get it right, so I wouldn't do it at all 😁. Ignorance is my safety anchor, so to speak, so that I continue to invest 😅

Stock market license... with that, my bicycle license when I was 8 (over 30 years of experience. 😮‍💨) and my computer license, nothing should stand in the way of a career at Goldmann.

I'm currently taking the CISI certificate for Wealth Management and Investment Management. You need this in Germany to be allowed to manage outside capital. It is also recognized by BaFin, etc. as proof of suitability --> https://www.cisi.org/cisiweb2/cisi-website/study-with-us/wealth-retail/international-certificate-in-wealth-investment-management?utm_source=DigitalNav&utm_medium=CT&utm_campaign=DigitalQualsNav

Take a look at the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. They always hold the "Trading Masters" at the end of the year. This is a combination of stock market training and trading competition. Not only do you get competent knowledge, you even have the opportunity, if you are one of the best, to receive large cash and gold values. Definitely worth it.😌

I'm currently only in the twelfth grade at a business high school, but I'm glad I chose the finance profile. This means I have courses like private wealth management and real estate financing, etc.

When can I take the stock market license? I see that the dates are already over. Does it only take place annually?
