Cool that you think I would have savings tips 😆
Being a very impulsive and spontaneous person, my weekly spending varies extremely. That's why I don't set a weekly budget, however, a good overview of the total expenses is the A & O for me to achieve my savings goals regularly (So agree here @MisterWorldWide with Finanzguru).
I find saving 2-3 € more by doing without things that are dear to you, neither good nor effective to have more in the account at the end of the month (especially if you look at it in relation to costs like gas). Instead, I save money with the following things that I would do anyway:
a) CyclingI don't do this for financial reasons, but by riding my bike exclusively, I save the costs for the monthly ticket. In Berlin, you can get everywhere by bike and also do a little extra sport.
b) Pre-cookingIt's just absurd what the difference in weekly spending is with pre-cooking vs. ordering food daily to the office. Most importantly, I find that home cooked tastes better than ordered. Instead, I go out for a fancy dinner on the weekend for the money I save.
c) CashbackPayback, Amex etc. offer great ways to profit twice from the money you spent. Since I travel a lot, I can occasionally save some money on flights.
What do you think? Any other #spartipp's that I have forgotten?
