I would have a maximum of 10 positions if I had €50,000.
I'm also 19 and have a deposit of €12,000. I would be very interested to hear your story of how you saved up a portfolio of €50,000.
Have a nice weekend.

•@Wiktor_06 Thanks for the tip. I started working a lot when I was 16, sometimes 40 hours a week, and because I had few expenses, I always put a lot of money aside. After school I had a few good jobs...

•@Ben030 Okay, very cool story. I've also had a mini-job since I was 16. But I couldn't come up with that amount 😂🫡
But keep going, it looks really great

@Wiktor_06 Such upper limits are nonsense in my opinion. I had 80 shares here. Some of them only accounted for 0.8% of the portfolio, but I still had them for dividend distribution. Yes, my volume is large. But the effect is the same, no matter how big the portfolio is.
In any case, upper limits taken without precise information are not helpful. With 50,000, there's nothing wrong with 25-40 shares. Incidentally, I follow the basic principle: never more than 5% of the portfolio (except for ETFs and exceptions) => at least 20 shares
