Hodl BTC instead of R&D. Great business model! And extremely innovative. 😅

As long as it's running, it doesn't matter haha 😅

@zkEVM Sure. It only works when BTC works. And when BTC runs, BTC runs better. 🤷

@Epi Of course you're right, I just see it as a gimmick 🤷🏻‍♂️😃

@Epi would find it interesting at $3350 in view of the poor yen in Japan, could counteract the devaluation of money 🤔?

•

@zkEVM I think the devaluation risk of the yen is very different from the downside risk of BTC.

@Epi Yes, my only point is that since Metaplanet is now also converting its reserves into BTC, this could perhaps turn out quite well for them.

@zkEVM If BTC makes its 80% correction again and the company then gets stressed with shareholders who force it to liquidate, it will not.

••

2Anno

@Epi Yes, that is certainly the case, but if we assume that the next 18 months go up, the fall should then be manageable, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

@zkEVM Maybe. I would still feel more comfortable with my own BTC than with some in the hands of a company whose language I don't even speak.

@Epi Yes, totally, my point was more that Microstrategy is probably no longer an isolated case. It went more than steeply for them and brought the business forward.
