BTC Start!

Hello! In addition to my $VWRL (-0,01%) my individual shares ($ALV (+0,54%) , $BRK.B (-0,02%) ) and my $WGLD (+0,47%) savings plan, I would now also $BTC (-0,98%) in my portfolio. - Hence the question: Where is the cheapest way to buy BTC? I've read that some people advise against TR due to the costs and the fact that you can't transfer them to a wallet? What would you recommend for buying and storing?

Bison is beginner friendly

@TomTurboInvest But this "friendliness" costs a lot Gebühr🤷🏼‍♂️

@UnknownU I think it's good for beginners, the 1.25% spread is ok to get to grips with the subject.
I hope you don't buy your shares from neobrokers, because the spread is often bigger 😅

@TomTurboInvest supposed to get grip of what? How hard is to learn to click big green buy button. Since he is not day trader. I recommend kraken pro since its very cheap

@teoo clicking the buy button like a monkey and following the crowd is easy, indeed 🤣

@TomTurboInvest well what exactly do you do when you set the goal of buying btc and holding it for the long term. It is simple as it can get. Well ofc you can also set stop limit and other options if you desire but thats personal choice if you want to complicate it. I rather invest somewhere that offers low fees and has steeper learning curve . That way at least you learn something new rather than these “beginer-friendly” apps.

@TomTurboInvest I agree with you. It is clear and easy to use. However, in my opinion it can be cheaper with a little research.
And no, not a custody account with a neobroker😅

Bison is great.
A bit of a spread, yes.
But no fee when sending to the wallet.
German exchange, German account, no hassle when moving large sums.

@TomTurboInvest Where are you?
I'm at Bison myself

@Michael-official I am also with Bison and am satisfied with it.

@teoo For me, the "lowest fees" are not the most important factor. Having been involved in crypto from the beginning, I've seen platforms disappear overnight. I feel secure with Boerse Stuttgart in Germany, but I understand if others prioritize the lowest fees.🤷🏽‍♂️

Has been asked often enough - Binance/ Bitget and then on hardware wallet

@Ph1l1pp ah, and because it's been asked often enough, shouldn't I? 🧐
immagine del profilo
@patrick0NTour Right, just search for it.
immagine del profilo
@Ph1l1pp Grow up. You haven't understood the point of a community. 🤡
immagine del profilo
@patrick0NTour You have not understood the purpose of the search function, what is more ridiculous?
immagine del profilo
@Ph1l1pp definitely toxic to bring the hint. You can see in the comments section that there is a productive exchange 😉.
Can recommend the app 21bitcoin. Austrian company and works together with VR Bank Bayern Mitte. You can save fees with the code LK3ED. The Bitbox02 hardware wallet is recommended if you have Btc holdings.
At the moment it is not yet possible to deposit Btc from external wallets, but this is already being worked on

@AlexandrosL Paying out to external wallets is possible, but keep in mind that depositing is currently not yet possible

I have Coinbase and Bitpanda, so far I am satisfied.

Bitpanda is a good all-rounder

I use Bitvavo and Bitbox02 as a hardware wallet

I would wait with Bitcoin. It should have fallen sharply by mid to late 2026, then you can buy cheaply and set up savings plans (for maximum returns until the next high). I use Coinbase and can only recommend Coinbase.
immagine del profilo
@Aktienmeer You mean 2025?
immagine del profilo
@patrick0NTour No, I mean 2026. Next year I expect Bitcoin to hit rock bottom. That's when you want to buy if possible.
immagine del profilo
What makes you think that?
immagine del profilo
@patrick0NTour Experience from past bear market cycles

Why wait? The best time for a first savings plan is always now ;)

Bivavo is also beginner-friendly and at 0.25% significantly cheaper than Bison at 1.25%
immagine del profilo
Why Berkshire Hathaway as a single share?
immagine del profilo
@But_the_Stock_Picked_Me I consider $BRK.B to be a solid share that I include in my core satellite strategy.

Can recommend Bitvavo by hyphe. Is also beginner friendly. Hard wallet via Trezor 3
