Chances are you bought near the top and sold near the bottom.
Because -23% simply means that there is no momentum and the share has become cheaper, not that you can no longer make money with the share. If the price falls enough, even a mediocre company can be a great investment.
I don't mean that in a bad way, because everyone is wrong sometimes.
The important thing is that we learn from it.
