3% dividend soon?

$NOVO B (+3,16%)

The Novo share is falling and falling. The threat of tariffs and Eli Lily are particularly noticeable at the moment. It is therefore speculation on better study results from Novo and lower tariffs than expected.

Nevertheless, we will soon be at 3% dividend yields. Do you see this as an anti-cyclical opportunity with high dividend growth?

The fall in the share price is not due to fundamental reasons, but is more of a technical nature (overvaluation + chart correction).
Tariffs? Not a real risk factor.
Dividend? Solidly covered - and even anti-cyclically attractive if the decline continues.

If you believe in GLP-1 as a long-term megatrend (obesity, type 2 diabetes, prevention), Novo Nordisk is still a top pick in the healthcare sector, in my opinion.

high dividends are not positive :)

Novo Nordisk has been producing in the USA for three decades. The site in the USA is currently being expanded again to increase production capacity. Tariffs will not affect the company directly.

@Haiku But some here on Getquin are so afraid of the short-term, potential further drop in the share price if pharmaceutical tariffs are passed. Even though Novo is hardly affected, some seem as if the anxiety-relieving tablets have been sold out for good. The best thing to do is to sell everything and put the money in a savings account - after all, it has historically yielded excellent returns.

The 3% dividend yield is only worthwhile if the dividend is/can be maintained.

@MoneyISnotREAL right, it will certainly be really difficult for Novo to maintain the dividend with 20% growth

The tariffs are rather irrelevant for pharma. Because either the Americans pay them or they die in a diabetic coma. Production in the country by their own companies is not possible, or at least not quickly. And they already pay the highest prices in the world (good for $NOVO B ).
The price drop has nothing to do with tariffs - it is completely irrational for Novo and not supported by any fundamental data.
I don't know why this is so severe. But the most likely reasons are simply bad stock market speculation and chart techniques and "analysts" (if I were an analyst and really knew more than the average consumer, I would no longer work as an analyst...).

Maybe also buy shares in Ily Lily? If one doesn't make it then maybe the other will.
