The PULS missile launcher from Elbit Systems will be used by the Indian army. According to various sources, the Indian company Nibe has signed a technological cooperation agreement with Elbit Systems to manufacture and supply the PULS (Precise and Universal Launching System) missile launcher family in India.
Elbit Systems Land and Nibe have signed a technical cooperation and technology transfer agreement. Nibe will design, develop, manufacture, assemble and sell the PULS artillery rocket system in India.
The agreement explicitly covers the local production of the Universal Rocket Launcher / SURYA variant of the PULS family for Indian and export customers with a range of up to about 300 km, depending on the ammunition.
According to reports from early January 2026, the Indian Army followed the previous agreement between Elbit and Nibe and placed an emergency order with Nibe for the supply of PULS/Suryastra multi-caliber rocket launcher systems and associated ammunition.
Nibe now also manufacturer of Elbit's PULS systems
As a result, Nibe is no longer just a marketing partner, but an Indian manufacturer and industrial partner for the PULS launcher systems under the Elbit partnership.
According to the official Elbit brochure, "the multi-purpose launcher has two PODS, with each POD designed for a specific type of missile: the Accular 122 mm (18 missiles) with a range of up to 35 km, the Accular 160 mm (10 missiles) with a range of up to 40 km, the EXTRA (4 missiles) with a range of up to 150 km and the Predator Hawk (2 missiles) with a range of up to 300 km".
Defense circles stated that the very successful deployment of the Israeli version in the current war has dramatically increased international interest in the systems.
