@Epi Yes, it could be. Or US investors are just realizing that their stocks are trading at a huge premium that is hard to argue with. In the shadow of the megacaps, the rest of the S&P doesn't even look that exciting compared to the cheaper EU alternatives
@Nobody_123 Try to understand it! 😁 1. you move your money around all the time. That's called the economy. 2. that's how the stock market works: Capital is moved.
@TotallyLost Doesn't have to be contradictory. Perhaps Trump is just raising the question of what you are actually paying the premium for? Legal certainty and predictability should not be underestimated as reasons to invest! And what if both explain the premium for US equities so far? 😳
@Epi but that's not what I meant, I obviously expressed myself too imprecisely.
I was referring more to what I see as short-term actionism. Either I'm completely underestimating the current situation or the others are doing something to do something.
@Nobody_123 I see! 😁 Yes, the markets are often short-term driven. On the other hand, all long-term investors always say: hold until the investment case changes.
Maybe it's changing right now? My GTAA models are now also likely to have exited the US completely in April. In other words: momentum is gone for now.
