A question of pure curiosity

It's funny that all those who now
submissively call for Nord Stream
Stream 2 and tough sanctions
against Russia,
have never demanded anything similar against the USA
when they were illegally involved in
Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yugoslavia, Yemen,
Libya brought death and destruction and devastated these countries.
devastated these countries, just to name a few
What is your opinion???? And please stay professional

@LeipzigForEver I only joined in 2018, so I can't say for myself how I would have acted after 9/11 etc. The bottom line is that I understand the criticism of the USA, but I opt for the "lesser evil" and therefore for the West and against Russia/China (remaining Chinese positions will soon be divested). Moreover, for me personally, there is a difference between invading a sovereign state and threatening it with nuclear weapons and intervening in the Middle East, such as in the Gulf War or the Afghanistan mission.

@LeipzigForEver - Your apple and pear comparison in all honor: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_Militäroperationen_Russlands_und_der_Sowjetunion

Just because Putin has, admittedly, been more skillful than the USA in his operations, often using mercenaries alone (Wagner google it) or dual (dirty work = mercenaries / glorious victory with flag on tank), Russian wars are and have always been much more victim-heavy. Aleppo was completely bombed by the Russians, thousands of civilian victims accepted from the start.

Just take a look at the Arte documentary: https://youtu.be/cUxfZtxcujk
It was produced and broadcast before the war, so it is very neutral.

BAIZUO
PRONOUNCED ",BEI-TSUA"
.IS A CHINESE TERM FOR A SUPPOSEDLY
SUPPOSEDLY EDUCATED, BUT VERY NAIVE
PEOPLE FROM THE WEST WHO
FOR PEACE, EQUALITY AND AGAINST RACISM
RACISM, BUT DOES SO NOT FOR THE SAKE OF
FOR THE SAKE OF IT, BUT SIMPLY IN ORDER TO
FEELING OF MORAL SUPERIORITY
SATISFACTION. A BAIZUO ONLY CARES
ONLY CONCERNS HIMSELF WITH ISSUES WHERE
CAN EASILY EARN SOCIAL APPLAUSE IN THE WEST
CAN BE EARNED (SUCH AS IMMIGRATION,
MIGRATION, LGBT, ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE CHANGE) AND
GEOPOLITICAL, HISTORICAL AND DEEPER CONTEXTS.
DEEPER CONTEXTS.
THIS IS USUALLY DONE OUT OF IGNORANCE,
BUT OFTEN ALSO OUT OF FEAR OF LOSING THE PATH OF
(SUPPOSED) POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
AND THUS ALSO TO LOSE THE
SOCIAL APPLAUSE FOR HIS FREE
FREE ENGAGEMENT.

@Eochaid actually only a perceived truth, because it cannot be quantified in concrete terms. The more casualties were also not related to the pure "numbers" of dead, but to the strategy for carrying out the objective. In the case of the Soviets and later the Russians, losses on both sides are also historically secondary. (civilian and military) There are many reasons for this. In WWII, lower-ranking recruits were chased to the Germans' MG positions with wooden rifles just to provoke the loading of the MG45. In the Ukraine campaign, it is currently being observed that the soldiers of the Russian armed forces did not know before the operation that resistance was to be expected, nor was the overpowering Russian air force deployed sufficiently in proportion. Which would significantly reduce losses. Only one person knows why this is the case and that is Putin.

@Micky_Maus It's sad how a single dictator can drive a country up the wall ... In my case it was almost 1300 days of invested time

@sparfuchs_aktien_und_investmentments Yes, unfortunately. Actually a great company. Last fall it was still up 150%.
Thought it would be a nice €1 dividend per share in the fall and then something crazy like this.

Russia, or rather Putin, can only lose.

@Micky_Maus Yes. I also had €4 in equity. ... I was also looking forward to the dividend and now this...

Putin has already lost. He is weaker than ever and the world hates him ...

Because there is no more money to be made or because you are convinced that you should not invest in Russia? A small but subtle difference.

Thought after your last video you would go through with it and keep your Gazprom position. But I think you made the right decision! Hope you make a video about this too. Greetings and cheer up 👍

@Darkside_Investing Too great a risk of being expropriated. Too many incalculable risks. The money can then be better invested.

1day ago? A bit late, I was able to sell my Gazprom on February 24 at a profit, too bad about the good dividend. But Gazprom will probably not get off to a good start in the "West" for a long time now

Well, whether there will be dividends is not certain. They are currently banned from Russia.
