Höegh Autoliners - Why is the share price plummeting right now?

I only recently bought $HAUTO (+0,8%) because the dividend was so high and how could it have been otherwise, the share plummets and then the dividend is halved.

But what are the reasons for the collapse? I haven't read any bad news or anything like that, does anyone here have more information?

If you have assumed the figures on GQ or other relevant financial websites, then you will receive the figures from the previous year as a forecast. If there was a special distribution, then this is included in the estimate and distorts the picture. This is what happened here. Hoegh has always been very volatile, that's the nature of things. And the overall situation on the markets at the moment is not conducive to the division. The outlook was not bad now, longer-term contracts were concluded at decent freight rates. Take a look at the figures, reports and outlook on Hoegh's financial page and get an idea. And look at the sector as a whole. It's like ships at sea, rough seas at the moment 🙄😇🤷‍♂️

Even if it crashes, I always buy more for my pension and when it gets to 10-11 euros I sell it.

News of the World, then you'll definitely figure it out for yourself.

I feel the same way, but you can only wait until the share recovers.

and high dividend yield is more of an alarm signal that something may be amiss.
And wasn't the outlook for 2025 (EBITDA) rather negative?

Dividend cut scares off pretty much every major investor

My opinion - there is a point at which dividend yields are "too high" and for me this occurs at > 8%. From then on, you at least have to do some very detailed research to find out what's going on
And the downhill slide continues...
Fewer people outside the EU want our cars, and certainly not with extra tariffs on them :)
