Disaster escape

just scrolling through my sales from LW to see if it was a good decision or not and saw this... holy shit did I miss something.

What catastrophe did you avoid on the stock market, I'm interested to know what your "stupidest" sale was, mine was clearly $CEG (-9,72%) at fckin 90€

Dumbest sale: $PLTR sold for €15 because thought too expensive.

@Solitair okay that's really painful, have you got your shares back in the meantime?
@Investingyoung no, they went through the roof pretty quickly and I didn't pursue it any further

@Solitair I can beat stupidity, bought at around €7.80 in May 2022 and sold at €12 in May 2023... 🤪

@Solitair You're not the only one. With a market capitalization of around USD 50 billion, I also thought that 20 x turnover was too expensive, but who thinks that they will just keep on rising?

@Solitair was also my sale. Thought I was the only one that stupid :D

I had D-Wave Quantum 2024 running for an intraday somewhere around €5 for a total value of €20,000. That would have been a nice peak when the stock was over €30. But of course nothing against your Palantir story. I had Deutsche Telekom in my portfolio quite recently. I got out and then it went up another 30%. That annoyed me too. But someone also told me I always sell everything immediately with 3% plus. I have to work on that.

Amazon and Alphabet sold at 90 euros with bissl profit at the beginning of my stock market time.
Even Bat sold for 28 hurts today 😅

@Lukas98 What did you sell them for?
Sold Palantir 2023 for around EUR 8, needed money for an investment in a property. Since the price has only gone south so far...

@savvy_investor_2852 oh man, the immo almost paid for itself with palantir 😵‍💫😭

Oh yes, I might actually have been $ENR had bought just over 200 units at €7 and sold them again at €12 when I look at the price today, my fist hurts again 😵‍💫🙈🤷🏻‍♂️
immagine del profilo
@Stef1893 But why did you sell them?
immagine del profilo
@Investingyoung Yes, I'm still asking myself the same question today 👀 1&1 not counted together in this case in terms of AI and energy consumption... 🙈
And I needed money or invested in something else... 🤷🏻‍♂️
