My answer to $NESN is the same as this morning to $MDLZ. I can't do anything with food stocks. And for me, $NESN is synonymous with poor quality at overpriced prices. That's more my personal attitude to the products. In general, food stocks are not an investment case for me. But if you feel comfortable with it, that's completely ok.

I would also like to have your optimism regarding $NESN. After all, it is my 3rd largest position. Unfortunately, I don't see any sustainable recovery in the share price in the near future. The change of CEO had no effect and the latest figures didn't exactly look like growth either. For me, however, it is a stock that can be held in the portfolio for several decades.

@DividendenAlpaka just don't give up courage, better times will come when you've been in Nestlé for a while.
And living with solid dividends is also fun!
Sometimes it's not a sprint but a long marathon to success.
Let's give hope a free run now 😉
I am still waiting until the bottom formation is finally completed

@market_expert_gbtws interesting attitude. When do you expect the bottom to be reached (currently)?

Boring, but it always works. I'll be very bullish if they can show that sales are no longer stagnating!

@TheAmazingInc Yes, you're right. I hope sales will no longer stagnate and settle in the right direction 📈

@rene_ref Turnover is stagnating, even declining. Debts are rising. Water division still not sold. Restructuring has come to nothing.
I wonder why there should be a bottoming out. The slide will continue with the next figures.

@Olli68 I believe anyway. Let's see how it turns out.

I almost don't believe it, but something really seems to be happening at $NESN 😂

@DividendenAlpaka hehe yesss
the plan, as I imagined it, is going very well so far auf👌🏽

@rene_ref Copied from me? 😜

@GeldGenie 🫢 No, no, absolutely not. Of course, I made the decision completely on my own 😝

I don't really care who copied what from whom. In any case, I can't remember the last time the colossus $NESN went up 3.5% in one day and I'm happy accordingly🥳

I worked there for one month as an intern and I can tell you that I’ll never put my money in this company
@ClaraLvt ok thanks

@ClaraLvt Know several employees, some managing positions and went to events.

None are unhappy, all are personally invested. 😅

But different bubbles I guess.

What’s your reasoning not to invest that’s linked to your internship?
immagine del profilo
@GeldGenie they are all lazy people who do nothing. Working from 8-16 doing literally nothing, while having huge salaries even though they fire a lot in production leading to issues with buittoni for example. I was amazed how they told us their research lead to nothing in the last 10years.

@ClaraLvt What area did u work in and what was the internship? ^^ Asking for a friend 😅 I’ll take it up when we meet next time ^^

@GeldGenie both in Bergere and Vers chez les Blans. I was in internship in finance and had to visit some lab but was mostly paid 2.5k to watch Netflix series and read some book…
Food stocks are not a buy for me at the moment as the whole industry is undergoing a long-term restructuring process as consumer diets change. That's why I recently sold Pepsico and General Mills.

@W0tstock quite clear. Of course, it's up to you how you view the current situation.
But over the last 2-3 days at least it has been worth taking the plunge.
When the market as a whole weakens and an August low is reached, the stocks that are usually only ever sold off and see no potential are usually worth their weight in gold (see market situation since yesterday).
If only this rogue federal state didn't tax like that... You have to chase after half(!) of your net dividend every year because they haven't managed to put together a clever agreement.
