Stock market simulation game

Good morning everyone,

Tomorrow I'm starting a project called Planspiel Börse, where the aim is to generate as much return as possible in groups of 4 in just under 4 months with a fictitious share/etf portfolio of €50,000.

Unfortunately, I have already noticed a few problems, there are almost no small-mid caps, which means it will be difficult to achieve a particularly good return.

In addition, you can only weight each position by 20%, there is an order fee of €15 + 0.3% and there is no leverage or similar.

Now I would like to know how you would approach this.

What would be your weighting?

What strategy would you use?

For example, would you focus on stocks that are currently trending like $PLTR (+1,28%) or buy stocks that have fallen extremely and hope for a comeback like $NOVO B (-0,24%)

Would you invest everything straight away?

(Time in the market beats timing the market) or hold back half of it and wait for a market setback.

Or do you already have ideas for stocks?

They would have to be in the Nasdaq100, DAX40, MDAX, Eurostoxx50 or Dow Jones30.

I look forward to your answers and am grateful for any help.

Ah okay, I've seen that you can only invest in the major indices.
Then it's best to pick out the momentum stocks for each index. OnVista is a good place to do this.
Also take a look at $HOOD, there was some positive news here. You can play crypto there.
Or also $COIN

@Tenbagger2024 Unfortunately not because there is no direct stock list or anything like that, but you can choose stocks from the DAX, MDAX, SDAX, TECDAX, EuroStoxx50, Dow Jones, Nasdaq 100, FTSE MIB as long as they are available in € and you can trade them on the Stuttgart stock exchange, which is the case for about 80% of the stocks.

I took a look at the list of what you can invest in: $BTC , $HAG, $ADBE, $CRWD, $QCOM, $LDO, $VRTX and I would pick the silver long future. Overweight in BTC, Adobe and Crowdstrike, the rest gleichgewichten🤷🏼‍♂️.

Yes monthly performance... Got in on the dip after earnings. The figures were OK in themselves, but one area didn't grow as much as expected 😀
So far I have liquidated 1/3 of the position and am holding the rest with tight SL. So it was more of a speculation on a quick recovery and not a long-term investment 👍🏽

@Tenbagger2024 Yes, it's in my future pie, even with 6%. You don't have to like Tesla, but when it comes to technical progress, they're pretty blatant and that's exactly what I'm talking about in the Pie. But I'll put them at 4-5% in the future. In the short term, maybe even a candidate for a short with a few days to somehow get another 8% out of it 😀 preferably with 30 leverage and a stable internet connection to get out again 5 minutes later. Or I just drive back to Hohenlimburg to the casino 40 minutes drive once in 500€ won on red off to mcd and 40 minutes home again 😀

@Tenbagger2024 No, anyone can go in there. At Roulette there used to be a dress code, i.e. shirt, jeans and black shoes, otherwise you can't get to the table. But I haven't been there for ages. I think Hohensyburg is better anyway.
