I'm not normally the type to do much in individual stocks - but BBVA Argentina (BBAR) is a real exception for me.
Why? Because a lot of things come together here that I find exciting:
An extremely undervalued market, high dividend yield and a company that has managed to deliver strong figures in a difficult environment.
The latest quarterly figures have underlined this once again:
Solid profits, good development in loans and deposits - and all this in a market that has enormous catch-up potential in structural terms. Argentina has been economically weak for many years, but this is precisely why I see great opportunities for growth here if the country continues to stabilize.
What I particularly appreciate:
The dividend yield is very attractive - a regular cash flow, which is an important safety anchor for me when investing in emerging markets. At the same time, I believe that we could also benefit from share price growth here in the long term if the macroeconomic environment continues to improve.
I am convinced of this share - no hype, no trend, but a well thought-out investment with a healthy risk/reward ratio. That's why I'm sticking with it - and regularly adding to my holdings.
