Hello together

I just joined and want to invest my money in ETFs mainly for the long term.

The core will be the $VGWL (-0,54%) (actually VWRL but I can't find it here).

Besides that I also have a few $QYLD and $USOI bought. Since these yield incredibly high distributions (QYLD approx. 15% and UOSI approx. 30%), I ask myself where the risk lies with the titles and why these can pay out so much. After all, high yield is usually matched by high risk.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Thanks a lot

Sven

Putting your saved money into values that you don't understand is always a good idea...

My saved money is in the All-World. I just bought the two out of interest with small amounts (rather play money).

@smeury Play money is still money. I will never understand how you can label money as play money, where it doesn't matter if it's gone. With Zocktrades I can understand possibly still n bit, but money in values to pack, which one does not understand at all, then you can throw your money also in nen river

@RoronoaZoro - Yes, it really is a good idea on a smaller scale. If you are absolutely clear that you can lose the entire amount you invest, then it is better to invest in something that works but you have no idea why than to do nothing at all just because you don't know how the financial product works. If you want to understand everything about where you are investing, then never invest.

Of course, he does not know what he is doing, otherwise he would not have asked. I would not know it either because I belong to the beginners. Maybe there's still someone who can bring some light into the darkness, that we beginners understand it ✌🏼

If I search with the isin also comes the VGWL, seems to be somehow the same. Well I am also a beginner. I have only invested small amounts in it to try and learn.

The VWCE is again different (accumulating).
Thanks for your tips and advice, I agree with you, I just would have been interested to know what these products are.
