$AMG (-5,68%) Share falls today due to a strategically extremely interesting acquisition.
If you follow the news and the AGM documents of the last few weeks, it becomes clear that AMG is taking a step towards a monopolistic market with the purchase of the Zinnwald mine. It is probably not about mining lithium in large quantities for battery production, but about the production of Ltihium 6 and 7, which is required for nuclear projects and is not or cannot be produced in the western world. China and Russia are currently the only producers. It will be exciting to see exactly what the plans are for the mine in the coming months.
