You could be wrong. There are also kings that have increased their dividends for more than 50 years and performed better than many a growth... Sometimes there are such phases, sometimes others! 😅

@Wowa83 I mentioned that. Of course you can't pick and choose which companies pay dividends or not. But that's not the point. It's about the misconception that dividends are the reason for compounding. Compounding comes from growth, not from dividends or reinvestment.

•@Wowa83 Correlation is not causality. These securities only exist as dividend payers, how can they be compared with an accumulating version, which does not exist.
