BYD Chaos

$1211 (-2,11%) I'm sure thousands of people have already reported on this, but after the split and bonus shares, my return has gone to shit.

according to TR: I have -33.76% loss and my buyIn is at 17.40€, did BYD even have this price?

according to Getquin: I have a loss of 17.92%, what is right, what is wrong...

BYD shares are somehow so slow for me right now and I have a lot of capital in there that I would like to shift, but at -33.76% I'm not moving anything!

Unfortunately I got in too late, BYD's euphoria is over :(

My values have also gone completely crazy since then. Just keep it simple and that's it ;D

TR is wrong. Support says that the buy ins have not yet been corrected... Only got a decent answer from TR on the 3rd attempt. The first two had claimed the buy in was correct 😃

Basically, the management has alienated many investors through the technical implementation of the split. Whether the price war is right or wrong remains to be seen. BYD has the means to do so.
Anyone who has no problems with China will not be able to avoid $1211. And neither will anyone who wants to invest in cars

Why did you get in back then? I hope not because of the supposed free shares.
@Dividenden-Sammler no I had + 15% and somehow the euphoria was there that BYD will overtake tesla with sales figures (now it already has), but this price war etc. has destroyed everything:(

@ahmado1310 If you are still convinced of the company, I would hold on. If I were spoiled for choice, I would also invest in $1211 rather than in $TSLA as a company as far as the EV market is concerned.

But for me there are 2 KO criteria.
1) I don't invest in Chinese stocks because of the political system and the problems it causes.
2. automotive stocks are not my cup of tea due to the cyclical nature of the industry.

As a result of the split, which was partly assessed as a dividend payment for tax purposes, the share price was halved, but the dividend shares were fully taxed. This alone means that we have all already made a loss with BYD.
I am very disappointed with the entire transaction and will sell the stock in the medium term, even if BYD is one of the players that will remain in the market.
