NVIDIA is effectively betting that future AI factories will require enormous amounts of optical interconnect infrastructure to move data between GPUs, racks, and servers fast enough to support large-scale training and inference workloads.

The above two $GLW (-0,05%) and $MRVL (-0,27%) are more or less secure investment, there is also another ticker $LPK (-2,32%) this is a german company, the industry is searching for alternatives to traditional organic substrates, and glass substrates are increasingly viewed as a long-term solution due to better flatness, thermal stability, and signal performance for advanced AI packaging. $LPK (-2,32%) develops specialized laser processing systems that can enable the precise drilling and structuring required for manufacturing these glass substrates at scale. If companies like Intel, Samsung Electronics, or packaging suppliers accelerate adoption of glass substrates later this decade, $LPK (-2,32%) could benefit as a critical equipment provider rather than competing directly as a chip manufacturer.
