home bias - that is this way

People in South Korea drink the most alcohol in Asia. This is because a drink called soju is very popular there - it is cheap and almost everyone drinks it.

Drinking is also important at work. Bosses and colleagues often go out together and drink a lot because it is considered polite. Many even feel compelled to drink along.

On average, every adult in South Korea drinks around 13 bottles of pure alcohol per year - that's more than in China or Japan! Men in particular drink a lot there.

Is South Korea actually an emerging market or a developed market?
@Epi Emerging markets. But here (https://www.ishares.com/de/privatanleger/de/literature/fact-sheet/sema-ishares-msci-em-ucits-etf-usd-(acc)-fund-fact-sheet-en-en.pdf) even Germany is now an EM. No idea whether the classification has been changed or this is some special EM ETF. 😂
