Happy 40th birthday!
Time really does run fast from the age of 30.
I think from 30 onwards, everyone has gradually found their way and is then simply as busy as possible in everyday life.
Work, eating, sleeping, repeat.
There are no experiences outside of the same old route to work, the same old work and a bit of couchsurfing in the evening and/or briefly pressing children and checking share prices.
No new stimuli for the brain --> autopilot.
Then you're standing at the gates of heaven wondering where the time has gone.
You can only try to do as much as possible "off the track" and thus stretch out the perceived time.
Or you can stay close to massive bodies like yours so that time passes more slowly due to the curvature of space-time :D

•@Artiskon hahah, awesome post! Makes you realize that life can be really short, too short and you're always on autopilot, but I'm still happy.... You have to make the best of it and just enjoy your time with good people!
