Naja vlt gibts am verkürzten 30.12. auch noch welche 😅 $CVX x600 $XOM x600 Ich verspreche mir bei beiden während der Trumpzeit steigende Erträge, die sich zumindest in der Dividende niederschlagen können und um die geht’s mir eigentlich auch allein $8001 x1000 $DB1 x100 $MSCI x80 $DHL x1000 -> hier schien es mir geeignet, mal eine Position aufzubauen. Ich bin nicht ganz sicher, ob man hier auch mal irgendwann Kurswachstum sieht, aber viel weiter fallen werden die wohl (hoffentlich) nicht $DTE x3000

Interesting, for me $8001 is on the hit list against the background of further interest rate hikes in Japan...

@GHF We should wait and see. On the one hand, a balanced interest rate level is not fundamentally wrong. Of course, the time of extremely cheap loans for companies will then be over. But I don't see Japan heading towards 3/4/5 percent yet. People are acting very cautiously and are not really in agreement.

@lawinvest You're basically right. But the last interest rate hike, which was very homeopathic, caused a lot of upheaval on the stock market. And for a balanced interest rate level in Japan, several more hikes would be necessary... we'll have to wait and see, I won't liquidate my Japanese positions, but I will reduce them.

@GHF yes well I don't know how much you are traveling in Japan. I only have itochu...
But the fact that this distortion occurred also had to do with the fact that aktieninvest from Japan was backed by massive amounts of borrowed capital. They probably won't react like this every time. But you're absolutely right: I'm not running full steam ahead for Japan at the moment 😅

I appreciate your good intuition for stocks.
But how do you come up with oil? Trump's "Drill, baby, drill!" and his tariff wars should depress oil prices for the time being. Right?

@Epi Oil prices may go down in the short term, but production volumes could/will increase.
However, I assume that other important states such as the Saudis will then reduce their volumes, as they all have an interest in getting their necks fuller

@lawinvest Addendum: We will see whether a tariff war will actually have a negative impact on the oil price. Was that the case last time? I don't quite remember.

@lawinvest If the production volume increases, then prices fall. That's the point. And I don't believe that the Saudis are cutting their production volumes so that the Americans can make more money. 😅

The tariff war is likely to have a negative impact on the economy and at the same time make it more difficult for the Americans to get rid of their stuff abroad due to counter-tariffs.

I see both factors as potential headwinds for US oil stocks. In this respect, I am skeptical. But that's the stock market, it thrives on differences of opinion. 🤷
