What are the best dividend ETFs?

I'm currently holding $TDIV (+0,32%) in my portfolio but I'm looking to diversify and explore other dividend-focused ETFs.

What are some of the best dividend ETFs you’ve had success with?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on performance, dividend yield, and overall stability. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

The ones that dont pay dividends are the best. As they most often then not run better then their distributing counterparts.

You can always sell a little bit of your Position if you need money. When you dont need the Money the dividend is just net zero minus taxes and trade costs (Spread).

@Madhatter5566 What if my long-term strategy is to achieve independence from working hours in later years and then pass on this steadily increasing cash flow to my children? So that they also benefit from a never-ending stream of money? It's no good for me if I constantly have to sell shares, then I end up with 0 and my children also have 0.

This is not my illusion but my passion.

@BockaufDividenden Its an illusion, as you dont have any benefit nor free money from dividends. You could also just sell positions everytime. Its deinvesting with sidesteps in the investmentphase.

@Madhatter5566 Its not an ilusion for me, i know its not cash from nowwhere out of the matrix man. i know how dividends works thanks. still i want a steady cashflow WITHOUT selling shares you know? i just hold em not sell em for years.

we dont need to look in the same view, thats okay!

@BockaufDividenden You just do the same as selling a little bit every time you get an dividend. And you loose gains, as dividend etfs just run worse then nondistributing ones. Its your money you loose , for sure:)

Accumulating etf perform better but dividends etf provide a steady and predictable income stream.

It really depends on the personal goal 🤷‍♂️

tax-wise there is little difference if you run the numbers… but taxes may increase in the long term (who knows) and that may impact more an accumulating etf if you sell most of it after the surge.

I’m personally focusing 60% on core/growth etfs and 40% on a mix of high yield dividends etfs (TDIV, ISPA, FGQI) - I’m 38

@jollysa87 Its nonsense. As you could just sell a Portion of your Portfolio everytime or monthly based on your needs. And you would have more Money, as the gains are better
