Constellation Brands Earnings

$STZ (-0,22%)

I haven't invested in this yet, but at first glance, the numbers look solid, and it seems that the downward trend—where demand has been steadily declining—has come to a halt for now. With a current 3.3% dividend $1.03 per share, there’s still plenty of room for share buybacks and future increases.

In 2021, I $DGE (+0%) €30, and things went really well at first. In 2024, I sold at €35 because revenue and profits were declining. In hindsight, it was a good decision.

Now I’m thinking about adding a little beer back into my portfolio😅

What’s the vibe in the community? Are you already on board, or is buying physical beer the only option for you? 😁

I consider the spirits market to be challenging at the moment.
I also had $DGE in my portfolio and exited the position in November 2024 with a loss of 15%. My investment thesis—that people will always drink… even during crises—did not hold true.
At least Diageo is still suffering from a decline in consumer demand in North America and China. I don’t think the situation is any better in Europe either.
In my view, current and future regulatory barriers do not bode well for the future.
I haven’t looked closely at $STZ, but I suspect they’re facing similar problems.

I've reached the point where I no longer invest in those kinds of stocks at all. I invest in the S&P 500 ETF instead. And on the side, I only pick out growth stocks.

I'm looking for one, too. I think Heineken is interesting as well.

@Simpson Take a look at Anheuser-Busch. I'm happy with it—it's performing well.
