Hannover Re - Targets for 2026 clearly exceeded -Investor's Day

Hannover Re $HNR1 (-1,02%) is well above its medium-term targets for 2024-2026. The company had set itself a return on equity of over 14% - it already reached 21.2% in 2024 and even 23% in the first half of 2025. The EBIT target of more than 5% growth was also far exceeded.

Hannover Re intends to continue this strong development until 2026 and at the same time ensure stability: At over 260%, the solvency ratio remains well above the target of 200%, while the CSM result (underwriting margin) continues to grow. In addition, the dividend is to continue to rise annually in the future; there is no information yet on the amount of the dividend.

I am and remain confidently invested here. I think it's a shame that Hannover RE is always somewhat overlooked in the shadow of Allianz.

@WarrenWobuffet Yes, I agree, the focus is really only on the alliance.

I think Hannover is convincing with its share price growth, dividend yield and increase

@Max095 Since the end of 2022

@WarrenWobuffet What does Hannover Re have to do with Allianz, please? A comparison with Munich Re is more likely due to its business segments, but not with Allianz.

@Dividenden-Sammler It was more about the fact that it is rather unknown in relation to Allianz and Munich Re

@Therapeut ah ok - this is also understandable as Allianz is more or less at the front in the customer business and the reinsurers are more in the background. Therefore, compared to the insurers, they are not so much in the public eye (advertising etc.)
You can ask your friends who knows Allianz, Ergo, Generali, etc. and who knows Munich, Hannover or SwissRe.

@Dividenden-Sammler I agree with you about the business model. But you've just described my point very well. The broader masses don't even get as far as the reinsurers. And even there, Hannover RE is not the first candidate they have on their radar.
