Maxi is the name of this “series” from Ahold Delhaize.🦁
I’m always happy when I get to experience publicly traded companies in real life—when I visit their stores myself, such as $TJX or those from companieswhose products and beverages I personally eat and drink, aka $MDLZ (-0,99%), $MCD (-0,17%), $PEP (-1,23%), $ELO (-1,27%) ... etc.
These days, I actually mostly buy from companies where I’m a customer of the business model .
There’s some merit to that …
but not always, of course :)
This is also a kind of analysis, rather than just rigidly focusing on numbers and forecasts . But of course, it goes hand in hand with the Lynch glasses. 👓
But who am I to give anyone advice... you’re probably better off not taking it—you might even be better off that way 😂
Back to Ahold: You could tell in this store in Serbia, you could tell that people weren’t just shopping—they were also meet and stopto talk to an acquaintance… Especially among older people .
They probably all knew each other from their youth and meet up regularly while shopping.
I assume.
It also just looks like one of those Rewe stores (which I think is a good thing). Self-checkout lanes, which I also think are really cool—we have them in Austria and, I think, also in Germany? Yeah, definitely. Let me know.
Right now, my Ahold position is just under €6,000, which amounts to about 3.35% of my portfolio. I will probably make any further purchases, as the position is quickly too large if the stock rises again.
