The rumors surrounding the Chinese AI start-up DeepSeek have caused considerable turbulence on the stock markets:
- Nvidia $NVDA (-4,99%) and Broadcom $AVGO (+4,39%) lead the list of losers today with a whopping minus of -17% at the top!
- Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) $AMD (+0,38%) also experienced a massive decline of -7%
- Also Google $GOOGL (+1,79%) , Microsoft $MSFT (-4,73%) and Tesla $TSLA (-0,69%) are also in the red with losses of -4%, -2% and -3%.
- Apple $AAPL (-0,49%) on the other hand, surprised with resilience and an impressive +3-4% price increase - since the beginning of the year the share has nevertheless -8% lost!
I am somewhat skeptical about the performance and the actual cost advantages of the AI model - so I will wait until the information situation becomes clearer.
