@Kundenservice is it possible to add a tax credit at some point or do I have to manipulate the price so that it includes the credit ? another field for this or the possibility to put a -/+ in front of it would be great. Would love to give up my portfolio performance at some point once it works properly here.

@BamBamInvest the real investment bros pay no tax! That's what you read in the newspapers! 😎💪🏻

@Spacepanda then I'm probably not an investment pro 😂 I didn't get the entire loss back. But if they take so much away from you through the realized gains, you have to get something back 😂

@BamBamInvest There are currently no plans in this direction.

@Kundenservice But how can you track properly if this is not possible? Isn't it a simple matter?

@BamBamInvest would also be important to me.

@BamBamInvest I am fully on board. I have currently omitted all taxes because tracking simply doesn't work properly with them.

@EisenEnte should be relatively simple 👍

@BamBamInvest Reduce taxes on an old transaction accordingly so that the tax adjustment is added manually.

"Nothing is currently planned in this direction." just means that there is no specific function for this on our roadmap, which means we are tackling this issue directly.
In many countries, tax loss offsetting is still not a common process carried out by brokers.
As we are not only looking at Germany or Austria, we also always have to consider how we use our limited resources.

However, this does not mean that we ignore it and if we create a suitable function that can also support tax offsetting with a slight modification, then it will be done.

However, tax equalizations are somewhat more complex than "- enter taxes".
After all, not only do the taxes of the entire portfolio have to be recalculated, but also those of specific items.
What happens, for example, if you make a loss adjustment for 2 securities sold at a profit, but only sell one position at a loss?
Mathematically, the negative taxes must then be offset for both securities and not just in the overall portfolio. (As a rule, the broker does not even tell you whose gains your losses are offset against).
So you also need an input mask etc. so that no taxes are recorded twice. :)

@Kundenservice thanks for the feedback but then maybe the option to put a + or - in front of the amount in Advanced Transaction Entry.

I don't think this is too much to ask, how can you use an app for tracking if simple functions don't work.

I understand that purchases on foreign stock exchanges or other currencies cannot be displayed correctly or that I, as an Austrian, cannot transfer my Flatex custody account or insert transactions in PDF form, but it should be possible to insert manual amounts as a credit note.

I think being able to track a securities account properly should be the basic foundation and you could add this in many forms. That I have to constantly manipulate prices to be able to enter the amounts correctly.

Don't get me wrong, I decided to pay the annual fee for getquin premium as an appreciation and support for your work and because I enjoy spending time here and really appreciate the community, but it doesn't bring me any added value at all.

On the contrary, I have to sit down at my laptop and Portfolio Performance all the time to track everything properly.

However, I would like the tracking to work properly at least once so that I only have to spend time here in the future and don't have to enter everything twice and three times because the display is simply too inaccurate. ✌️

No offense, just my personal opinion . A +/- function for taxes can perhaps be set up or only a minus function for loss compensation / crediting of an amount in the event of a sale.

@Memo0606 I'll take a look, but it's not on my list of priorities 😁, I find other things more exciting
immagine del profilo
@BamBamInvest phew, what a shame to hear that
which one?

@BamBamInvest sorry to interfere, but what do you think of $QBTS? Has the train left the station long ago or is there still something going on?
immagine del profilo
@Semos25 unfortunately I have no idea, I have not dealt with the company, but a lot is probably already priced into the chart without having dealt with it in detail ✌️

@Memo0606 the ones mentioned, which I have also looked at more closely. I generally don't invest without understanding the business model and taking a closer look at it. As I want to keep my portfolio rather small, I will probably open smaller positions in $TMDX and possibly $JMIA. Yesterday I already positioned myself at $AMD.

@BamBamInvest Yes, it is!
