Kühne + Nagel $KNIN (-0,15%) has to make savings, according to a newspaper article.
The Swiss logistics group Kühen + Nagel is responding to the downturn in its own business with a cost-cutting program. The company is initiating a cost-cutting program in which up to 1,500 jobs are to be cut in order to reduce costs by more than 200 million Swiss francs per year. The objectives include reducing costs through process optimization and automation as well as responding to overcapacity in the market.

In the third quarter of 2025, the Group's turnover fell by seven percent to six billion francs. Net profit even slumped by 39% to 206 million francs.
Kuehne + Nagel's share price has fallen by a quarter to 154 francs since the beginning of the year.
