@7Trader Hannon wants to give up its REIT status in 2024. Do you see it as an opportunity to grow faster and more sustainably or rather as a risk? Personally, I think that the focus could possibly be placed more on growth with lower distributions and I welcome it for a long investment horizon.

@Kohlmeyse I also understood that more money will now be available for further growth. The share price has also taken the news in this direction. My money will remain in the pot in any case 😎🤞🏽

@7Trader am up 74% as of today. 😎

••

@Kohlmeyse Congratulations, that's a nice win. Are you going to realize any of it?

••

@7Trader As I am currently seeing an absolute trend reversal, I am letting the profits run. Stop-loss at 10 % and on we go. 😊

@7Trader HASI is a little shy. Soon "golden cross", what do you think? 😊

@7Trader @itZNico In terms of the chart, the fat uncle was briefly thrown in at the deep end and now: long 🚀

Is this still a REIT or have they already lost the status? What is your investment case on the stock?

••

@itZNico if already then already it is a BDC. 😉 I'll get back to you later...

@Kohlmeyse On stockanalysis.com, under company profile, it says it is a Specialty REIT. Anyway, I would be interested in your opinion on this. The last time I heard about the company, it said they were going to lose their REIT status and cut the dividend, so that went something like $MPW 2.0.

••

2Anno

@itZNico is a "mortgage REIT" and where did you hear that? Do you have any reliable sources?

••

2Anno

@7Trader Never Mind, the sources are not reliable. M-REIT sounds good. 👍 I'm curious to see whether it will go up again after an almost two-year downward trend or whether $HASI will soon be available for less than €10.

••

2Anno

@itZNico ah ok. And where did you "hear" that = I'm interested in that

••

@7Trader This came from the community of the Youtuber "Dividend Bull". The topic of the Youtube channel is income investing, and it's actually always about BDCs and REITs. Since I couldn't find much useful information about the company itself, I asked the people in the comments. And since companies in the renewable energy sector are having difficulties with rising interest rates anyway and income depends on the weather, I didn't want to invest.

@itZNico from the anonymous comments of a YT channel..... so this source is not really trustworthy 🫣 Every noob writes what he wants out of imposing behavior. PS : but in any case it is a speculative stock. My target is at least € 25

@itZNico @7Trader In all honesty, the uncertainty is simply due to the direction of politics in the USA and the current level of interest rates. Which Reit, MReit, BDC doesn't fall? The data on TradingView makes me feel positive. Steadily growing profits and the rest of the fundamental data also fits. Even under high interest rates!
