The profit of Stellantis $STLAM (-4,48%) slumped by almost two thirds in 2024, which also had a negative impact on the share price. Experts advise streamlining the portfolio, with a particular focus on the premium brands Alfa Romeo, DS and Lancia.
In order to become competitive again in the USA, Stellantis announced massive investments at the beginning of the year. The Group plans to invest over 5 billion dollars in the US markets in the coming years. As part of this strategy, Chairman of the Board of Directors Elkann also sought talks with US President Donald Trump.
