Amazon wants to buy TikTok: According to a media report, the online giant has submitted a purchase offer for the popular short video app.
The New York Times reports that Amazon has sent the letter to Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. One of three people familiar with the process said that the offer is not being taken seriously. The individuals and companies involved have not yet issued a statement.
